Heads up: the Lily pattern is currently available in Polish only. An English version is not planned at the moment. The page below is a translation of the description so you can decide whether the pattern is for you.

Lily is a joyful project full of colour and lightness — the stripe composition catches the eye instantly. The openwork crochet texture gives outfits a fresh, feminine feel. Perfect for spring and summer — it pairs beautifully with jeans, shorts, and light skirts.

Construction: raglan, top-down

The sweater is worked raglan, top-down. You begin at the neckline and gradually add stitches along four raglan lines that shape the shoulders. The piece is worked in rows, so you can fine-tune the width and depth of the yoke, and the length of the body and sleeves as you go.

Once the yoke reaches the right size, you set the sleeves aside and crochet the body straight down. Then you return to the sleeves — from the underarm towards the wrist. Finally, you add ribbing at the neckline, cuffs, and hem. It’s a forgiving construction that lets you try the sweater on while you work — no fear of it “not coming out right”.

You are the designer here

Lily has a loose, oversized cut with wide sleeves and a shorter body ending at the hips. You choose the colours and sleeve length yourself. I went with white as the base and alternated every second row with another colour — that’s how the striped pattern came together. Be sure to check out the testers’ photo gallery — you’ll find plenty of inspiration there.
